History:

2002 - Innovation: medalp

In 2002, the managing directors of medalp made a far-reaching decision with an innovative medical concept. In the midst of Tyrol's holiday centers - in IMST - on January 2, 2002 a sports clinic for traumatology and sports traumatology was opened on private initiative.

After a short time, the doctors and 12 employees realized that the medalp concept met the wishes of many patients for a quick, uncomplicated and professional treatment.

2011 - medalp 2.0

Ten years after the starting signal, the new building of the medalp Imst. 120,000 treated patients, decades of experience of the doctors and meanwhile more than 100 employees in the medalp group gave a lot of input for the new medalp - one of the most modern sports clinics in the Alps.

2012 to 2016 - ISO, export price and 2.5 million Invest in quality

The clinics of the medalp group are among the first houses of their kind in the Alps that operate quality management according to EN ISO 9001: 2008.

2012 follows the WKÖ export price. A high award from the Austrian Ministry of Economic Affairs, which distinguishes the high and constant quality of medalp and reflects the satisfaction of the patients.

In 2015, another one million euros will be invested in medalp Sölden in Siemens Austria's first MRI Magnetom Amira to diagnose patients faster, more effectively and more comfortably.

The medalp Academy and the administration will receive new premises on more than 1000m2 in the medalp Imst.

The managing directors of medalp Imst - Dr. med. Hermann Köhle, dr. Alois Schranz and Dr. med. Manfred Lener - are already planning further "details" for 2016/17, which underpins the well-known medalp model.

2016/17 - New MRT

The medalp Imst starts the 16th year of operation with a new 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging system from Siemens. Thus, we offer our patients even faster and better diagnoses and more comfort.

2017/18 - New primary care setup

Just in time for the start of the winter season, the first care shock room at the Imster medalp was put into operation.

The acquisition of emergency services patients is therefore logistically and technically up to date and significantly improves patient care.

2019 - Special Hospital for Traumatology and Orthopedics

From 2019, medalp Imst will be a special hospital for trauma surgery and orthopedics. The particular advantage for the patients lies in the offsetting with the insurance companies, which are in a contractual relationship with the medalp Imst.

5. Recommended settings

To visualize all light effects, HDR should be activated. The higher the settings for "texture resolution" and "airport detail" the better the quality of the scenery but the more affect on the FPS ratio.
