The airfield Lienz-Nikolsdorf is an Austrian airfield near the capital district Lienz East-Tyrol in the community Nikolsdorf. It is the only airfield (with the exception of two heliports in Lienz and Matrei) in East-Tyrol.
The airfield is located on the B 100th

Air-Rescue

The air base Lienz-Nikolsdorf was founded under the name of Martin 6, of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in October 1986. The main tasks of this base were police duties and the air ambulance. On 1 January 2001, the Christophorus flight rescue association ÖAMTC took over through a assistance contract with the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the base so that the emergency helicopter service in East-Tyrol and Upper Carinthia. The police duties of Martin 6 was taken from the air base Klagenfurt. In the summer of 2003, the base was completely rebuilt.

2.The scenery

The scene is based on publicly available information and pictures that were taken by Johannes  F. in October 2014 and made ​​available.

All objects were completely rebuilt.

The scenery includes night textures and realistic lighting (Only X-Plane 10, 11).

4.Installation

Just copy the folder "LOKL Lienz 2.0" in the compressed file after unpacking in the "Custom Scenery" - folder

directory structure:

          Earth nav data and others)

and restart X-Plane.

5.Recommended settings

To visualize all light effects, HDR should be activated. The higher the settings for "texture resolution" and "airport detail" the better the quality of the scenery but the more affect on the FPS ratio.
