1.The example

Innsbruck Airport (ICAO: LOWI, IATA: INN) is located in the west of Innsbruck, about 5 km from the city center, in the Höttinger Au.

The foundation for the later Airport Höttinger Au at Kranebitten west of the city in 1946 was defined by the French occupation forces and two years later, on 15 January 1948, the new airport at the present site was opened in the Ulfiswiese. On 8 October 1954 saw the establishment of the Tyrolean airport mbH with the directors Hermann Egger and Moritz burner. A first major test was the Olympic Winter Games in 1964 and those in 1976, which were held in Innsbruck. In the late 1970s flew in both the summer and in the winter season charter flight chains at the Innsbruck airport and ushered in the turn at the Innsbruck airport operations. This progress was strengthened in 1980 with the inclusion of courses Innsbruck-Vienna and Innsbruck, Zurich the newly founded Tyrolean.

The buildings have since been repeatedly expanded and remodeled, so in 1990 with the construction of the tower, in 1994 with a new air cargo terminal in 1996 with the arrival and redesigned in 2000 with the departure hall. 2.The scenery

For this scenery, the "LOWI Demo Area", delivered by Laminar Research with X-Plane, has been updated and expanded. The majority (buildings, taxiways, runway, etc.) correspond to the version of Laminar Research.

The planes on the apron were made ​​ "removable", the parking positions, taxiways, etc. revised according to the material of VACC-Austria and updated from generally available information.

In version 3.0, some changes or updates have been incorporated by Patrick W. Also, the Marshallers were replaced by those from the SAM (Scenery Animation Manager).

Charts

are available at http://www.vacc-austria.org/?page=content/airportinfo&icao=LOWI. Based on that charts the parking postions and  taxiways where build into the scenery. So there should'nt be any problems when flying online.

4.Installation

Just copy the folder " LOWI Innsbruck Kranebitten 3.5" in the compressed file after unpacking in the "Custom Scenery" - folder.

If the "LOWI Demo Area" should be installed, please remove or deactivate it.
