1. The example
The base of the medivac helicopter “Christophorus 9” is located in the 22nd district of Vienna on the area of the former airfield 'Aspern'. The base was put into operation on the 1st of April 2001. At the very beginning only with a dent as hangar and some containers for the crew and personal.

The base in its current state exists since May 2002 and is operational 24/7. Flighttimes are in summer from 0600 a.m. and winter from 0700 a.m. always until sunset. The base itself contains a hangar with portable helipad, a fuelstation and a building for the crew and personal.

The primary area of operation is the citiy of Vienna, its vicinity up to the northeastern region
of the state of Lower Austria and the north of the state Pannonia. With about 2 million
citizens in the area of operation, Christophorus 9 covers the most dense living area in whole
Austria.

In 2017, the base was relocated to the new location in Vienna 3rd.

2. The scenery
The photorealistic scenery was build from scratch. GoogleEarth was used as data source. The helipad (LOAJ) is for VFR only. Some objects are from the joint library of the AXDG.

4. Installation

Simply copy the folder " LOAJ Aspern OEAMTC 2.0" into the compressed file after extracting it to the "Custom Scenery" folder.

 and restart X-Plane.

5. Recommended settings
To visualize all light effects, HDR should be activated. The higher the settings for "texture resolution" and "airport detail" the better the quality of the scenery but the more affect on the FPS ratio.

Although the scenery will work without any addons, we recommend to use the following ones for the whole experience (pictures taken with addons installed):
